Tulsa's best-known casino is not in Tulsa. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa gives its address as 777 W. Cherokee Street, Catoosa, a separate town on Route 66 north-east of the city, and it is run by Cherokee Nation Entertainment. The three big names people search for belong to three different tribes, sit in three different corners of the metro, and do not even share an entry age. That last point catches out more visitors than the driving does.

Osage Casino Hotel Tulsa: the north-side local

Osage Casino's Tulsa site opened in summer 2005, the fourth of what are now seven Osage casinos, and it is the group's flagship. It lists more than 1,600 electronic games, open 24 hours, with table games from noon (10am at weekends) until 4am. Craps and roulette are evening games here, 6pm to 2am, Tuesday to Saturday only, so a Sunday visit for the dice will be a wasted trip. The 2,000-seat Skyline Event Center books national touring acts and comedians, and Thunder Bar & Grill and Swigs carry the local bands.

It is also the only one of the three where an 18-year-old can play. Osage's own terms say you must be 18 to participate, and 21 to rent a hotel room or drink.

Hard Rock Tulsa: Route 66 and a golf course

Hard Rock leans on its setting. It sits directly off historic Route 66, which turns 100 in 2026, and the resort has built a centennial pitch around its diner, its rock memorabilia (there is a staff-led tour of the collection) and its hotel. The floor carries more than 2,300 electronic games by one of its own pages and more than 2,600 by another, plus blackjack, roulette and a poker room. Outside, there is a 12,000-square-foot pool deck and Cherokee Hills Golf Club. Parking is a five-level garage and self-park only; the hotel says valet is not available at this time.

The rule to remember: you must be 21 to be on the gaming floor, and 21 to check in. If you are searching for upcoming events at Hard Rock Tulsa, the venue's own calendar is the only reliable list, as acts change weekly.

River Spirit: the biggest room, beside the river

River Spirit is the largest casino in the Tulsa area by its own figures, with 200,000 square feet of floor and more than 3,100 electronic games, plus poker, a high-stakes room and smoke-free areas. Since 2016 it has effectively been two casinos in one, with a Margaritaville casino and restaurant alongside the main floor. The hotel tower rises 27 storeys with 483 rooms, and The Cove, its showroom, seats more than 2,500.

Its location on the banks of the Arkansas River is the scenery and, once, the problem. In May 2019 the river rose high enough that River Spirit was evacuated and closed on 22 May; water seeped into the lower level and covered the outdoor pool and parking lots. The resort reopened on 21 June 2019 after about three weeks, earlier than first estimated. Like Hard Rock, it is 21 to game.

Is there a Buc-ee's casino in Tulsa?

No. There is no Buc-ee's casino, and as of early October 2026 there is no Buc-ee's travel center in Tulsa either. The only firm news is from Oklahoma City: on 29 September 2026 Mayor David Holt said the city was in "active conversations" with Buc-ee's about the state's first location, at I-40 and Cimarron Road in west Oklahoma City, according to KJRH. Nothing announced connects Buc-ee's to any casino.

Which one to pick

For a weeknight close to downtown and the north side, or for anyone aged 18 to 20, it is Osage. For a weekend with golf, a pool and Route 66 nostalgia, Hard Rock in Catoosa. For the most games and the biggest show room, River Spirit on the south side. Our biggest casinos list places all three against the state's two giants, and our Oklahoma casino age guide explains why the entry age changes between them.
